Called by many the MTV Awards of the Carolinas, the 2009 Carolina Music Awards show is well on its way to being one of the most recognized awards shows on the East Coast. As it launches its 2nd annual show on August 15th, onlookers can prepare for a full weekend of events as the CMA's celebrate music in Country, Hip-Hop, Rock and R&B at the prestigious Progress Energy Center in downtown Raleigh.
